While at JWT, we created Yes, Virginia, a 30-minute animated holiday special, for Macy's.  Since its creation the show has aired every year in primetime on CBS.  Last year it was the highest rated show on TV in its time slot.  It's become more than just a show, it's become an entertainment property.  There is a children's book published by HarperCollins, ornaments, DVDs, dolls, clothing and other merchandise.  There are websites and apps.  Yes, Virginia has been featured on the Today Show and many other programs.  Last year Macy's created animatronic holiday windows in their flagship stores.  This year, schools across America are putting on Yes, Virginia musicals, with funding from Macy's.  And if you need any other proof that she's become larger than life, look for the 50-foot tall Virginia balloon in the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade.
